My name is Kim, I'm married with 2 boys 18 & 16. I live in California, raised in South Dakota. I'm a Pharmacy technician with aspirations to be a writer/quilter/baker/chef. When I'm not in a kitchen I love to be in a garden.
My First Thanksgiving Dinner I cooked all by myself with a 5 month old on my hip the WHOLE time. 1989 and It turned out great. After that everything was easy.
This New Years Eve 2008. I tried to duplicate my husband's 75 year old aunt's puerto rican recipe for rice and plantans. It didn't turn out exactly like hers but it was hoping my husband would have been Surprised.
I always ask the Lord to help me cook to bless our food & especially for his "special seasoning" and so far so good. Amen.
