About Me: I have recently lost 151 pounds. I still want to lose more, but am thrilled with what I have lost.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: My greatest cooking success is my chili and my lasagna. I get rave reviews every time I make either one. My chili recipe is from the newspaper. I combined several recipes for my lasagna.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: I am looking at a pan of drippings and decide to ignore the cookbooks and see if I can remember how to make gravy Mom's way. I can hear her giving me instructions each step of the way, and have finally created my first pan of gravy. It is perfect! While it is simmering, I decide to make a Slim Fast shake for my lunch. I am watching the gravy with one eye, and making my shake with the other, when I suddenly turn and . . . empty Sweet 'N Low into my gravy instead of into the blender! I now have the sweetest gravy that you could ever ask for! Fortunately I was able to add more celery seed, pepper and salt and rescue it.
