About Me

I am a wife, mom, worship leader for my church and full time employee. I am busy! However, I love to cook, love to experiment and try new recipes. As a little girl, through the time I left home, my parents would always have someone over to the house on Sundays after church. They would laugh and fellowship all night! As an adult, one of my biggest joys is having a house full of people (and trying my new recipes on them...) and creating memories of food and fun for my kids, myself and my husband, and my closest friends.

Making dishes of my own creation that are asked for over and over!!!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
My kitchen itself. Period. I hate my kitchen. We bought our 44 year old house last year, adorned with harvest gold peeling countertops and grotesque linoleum floors. Completely unfunctional and awkward, it sometimes will deter me from hosting people in my home.
My Food For Thought
I think there is no better way to invite people into your life, than through inviting them into your home and sharing great conversation over a great meal. We often times eat out with friends, but I love the excitement and intimacy of a potluck at my house or preparing a meal and sitting around with friends and family!
