About Me
No profile added.
My husband and I are retired. I co-owned an antiques mall. We have 3 married children, one daughter lives 20 miles away, son lives 30 miles away, and youngest daughter lives in Texas. We have 11 grandchildren aged 27 to 7 and 7 great-grandchildren. We love to travel and go to Texas at least once a month. I have visited 34 states and have a goal of visiting the other 16.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
I don't know if it is a great triumph but I do a lot of cooking for our family gatherings which take place often. They all think my pies are the best. The biggest stress of cooking for such a large group is having all the food ready to serve all at once.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
We had a large amount of cabbage which I prepared every way imaginable, gave away many heads, and finally decided to make saurkraut. It took so much effort and the house smelled of kraut for days! We did enjoy it all winter but I will never do that again.
My Food For Thought
Live happy, be thankful for God's blessings, be tolerant, overlook faults, love family, make and keep lots of friends, don't worry (put it in God's hands) and pray.
