About Me
No profile added.
I can make anything look like the picture when it comes to cooking. Just as long as I don't have to make my own pie dough we're pretty good. I'm a stay at home mom and am always looking for a new recipe so we are not in the same old routine. I never want to hear the kids or my hubby say something like not blah blah again. I always tell them that it's good to try new things. If they don't like it it's fine you don't have to eat it. You just have to try it. You can always have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich......
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Making really, really great fried chicken. Yeah it may not sound that great but I've never been able to make the kind that makes the red and white box jealous. Finally I found a great recipe to make perfect, crunchy, fantastically wonderful chicken. Did I mention that most of the time when chicken is on the cheap that this is about 40cents a serving??? What's better than that?????
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Anything from a box. For some reason easy stuff like hamburger helper seems to elude me. And chili. One time I made something called chili magic. All you had to do was add beef and tomatoes for great chili. I followed all the directions. The chili was not good and definately not magical. My sister still makes fun of me for it.
