Mom of four daughters and twelve grandchildren. Married for 52 years Now caring for 88 yr old mother in my home.
Cooking for a crowd on Thanksgiving is a triumph. Just this past year I started asking others to bring dishes as the turkey, side dishes, salads, desserts , bread and drinks are costing over $200.00 to serve this large meal not to mention all the time it takes to get it all together including the shopping for the ingredients. So my tiumph is letting others help. Also, the relish dishes, and chips and dips.

Cook ahead so on party or meal day all you have to do is bake and remove chilled dishes from the refergerator. This allows you to sit and eat with your guests and feel more relaxed. The extra refrigerator in the garage is a big help for storing the many dishes and desserts.
