My Greatest Cooking TriumphAs a young bride my husband asked his mother to show me how to make biscuits. I made them many times throughout our marriage and one day when we had been married approximately 40 years, after a visit to his mother who made biscuits for us, he said to me, "I don't want you to get a big head, but your biscuits are better then Mom's." Of course, she hadn't been doing much cooking for over 10 years and was quite rusty, but still I knew that this was a big complement coming from him.
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterHawaiin Chicken. My family didn't like it and even the dog wouldn' eat it.
