I'm a widow, work full-time and take care of my mom when I get home. I love to cook and miss cooking for my family since my husband passed away and my son grew up. I look forward to visits with my granddaughter on weekends and try to make those visits memorable for both of us. I would love to have more time for crafts, travel and decorating someday.
The first Thanksgiving dinner I ever prepared which turned out to be my dad's last Thanksgiving.
I'm sure I've blocked that out of my mind since I don't remember anything specific.
Material things do not leave sweet memories...only the time spent with loved ones can do that, so spend your time where it counts.
