43 years old. Married to Bob for going on 25 years. We have 2 daughters ages 23 and 19. One dog, Hewey. Work at nursing home in the activities department and love it! I love to cook, esp. bake, and try new recipes! Making hundreds of Pumpkin Log Rolls!! Years ago I made one for a holiday dinner and everyone loved it. For years after that I was asked to make them for every occasion you can imagine and even as gifts. I still love the recipe, (and to eat it) but became so sick of making them I gave the recipe out to everyone......a long time ago......and yet, they still all ask me to make them constantly. LOL
Can't think of any real big disasters but........just today I tried to make the Chocolate Cream Cake recipe from Taste of Home.....well, the first try at the filling didn't work....it was like water.......so dumped it out and tried again......it was obvious the same thing was about to happen if I followed the directions so I used a smaller amount of milk to try and make it less "soupy" - however the sugar did not dissolve and so now I have the cake all made, but am not sure how edible it will be. I give up on that one! Just a side note, the glaze on that recipe is great and turns out just as it should. LOL
