About Me: I am an engineer by education and work experience. SAHM for the last 16 years. I'm a volunteer Keeper Assistant at the zoo for the last 15 years. Since DH owns his own business, I pretty much keep the house running by doing most repairs. Between my 2 boys (16 & 13), volunteering, cooking dinner, doing the wash I don't have much time for me! But I squeeze in some fun time every now & then. I used to ski a lot, but can't afford it anymore. That's my boring life in a nutshell.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Every time I try out a new recipe and it turns out to be not only edible, but my guys ask me to make it again next week...that's my triumph!

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: The first time my future husband came over for dinner, I fixed Stouffer's French Bread Pizzas in the microwave. He knew I wasn't a cook & we had just came back from a day of skiing. So the micro meal was OK with him until he tried cutting the pizza with a metal fork and it was so tough...THE FORK BROKE!!!! We ultimately married, but I have NEVER, EVER served those pizzas again!!!

My Food For Thought: Never say "I can't" - as soon as you say that you set yourself up for failure! God ALWAYS answers your prayers...maybe just not the way you wanted Him to!
