About Me
No profile added.
I love cooking for family and friends. Its my way of showing them how much I care about them. I love to try new recipes I am especially fond of fall and winter recipes I make them year round. Aside from cooking I enjoy reading, camping and spending time with my four year old daughter and Husband.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
My greatest cooking triumph would have to be my lazy made cheesecake. When my husband and I first met I would bring him a new flavor every couple of weeks. He often tells me my cheesecake is what made him fall in love with me. I admit that my cooking skills were not the best then but he enjoyed them.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
I made Christmas dinner for my in-laws last year and nothing turned out right the roast was so dry and brittle, the potatoes were gloppy ugh the dessert was burnt around the edges. I learned something very important that year, If you are going to make new recipes for a dinner with a lot of guest try them first don't just assume they will turn out well.
My Food For Thought
If you have kids in your life COOK with them it is such a great learning experience from math to patience, to what is healthy for you and everything in between. You learn a lot about your kids to which is priceless. My favorite way to connect with my daughter is over a plate of food we made together.
My Interests
I love hosting parties, reading, learning history of the world, camping, traveling, spending time with all our family. of course cooking, I love the holidays so I am usually trying a new holiday recipe in the middle of the year depending on what holiday I am feeling at the time.
