About Me
No profile added.
I'm not really that fond of cooking, but do love easy recipes. Some of my best and easiest recipes are from an old Taste of Home Bar Cookie booklet. I have had that little booklet for about 20 years and dearly love it.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
I won the Chili Cook-Off at work this year. My husband now has to bow down to my chili making skills.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
I've had too many to mention. The other day I had one egg in the house and tried to make a package of chocolate chip cookies to take to work for food day. I cracked the egg and while listening to my husband talk, I dropped the egg on the counter. The counter had just been wiped, so I scraped up what egg I could and went on making the cookies. I told the ladies at work what happened. The ladies said the cookies were really good for only having half of an egg in them. After being married for 45 years and cooking for even more than that, you would think I would not have those kind of things happen to me.
My Food For Thought
Enjoy every day of your life. Don't keep thinking some day I'll do this or that. Do it now. Don't wait. Time creeps up on you.
My Interests
