Unfortunetly I can no longer cook (or spell:) you see); but I still buy and read cookbooks anyway. MS has robbed me of one of my most favorite things to do. I loved working" in the kitchen. My children are all grown up; but they still talk about the food I used to prepare.
I baked two loaves of bread that my Dad couldn't I didn't buy. My husband defended me and eventually "helped" my Dad to know that I had baked them that very morning.
I baked my first Bundt cake--from "scratch". When I took it out of the oven, let it cool the proper amount of time, and turned it oout on the cooling rack. It came out of the pan so nicely. Then one half crumbled completely; the other half was nice looking. Since we could ill afford to waste the crumbled half; so I stirred it into softened vanilla ice cream and made another dessert. I got some chuckles from the company we had that evening.

  • Rainbow Cookies

Meet the Cook: I always bake my Rainbow Cookies 2 weeks ahead. That allows them enough time to "mellow" leaving them moist and full of almond flavor!
