About Me: I am a married mom of two little boys, a pug named Bazil, and one husband! We live in Maine, but I am originally from Cape Cod. I am a stay at home mom, and work at the local library Saturday afternoons. My husband is in school full time and working full time, so it's just me and the boy's a lot of the time. Quick and easy cooking is the name of the game!

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Chocolate Chip Cookies with Chickpeas! This may not sound great but to me it was a huge triumph. My 2 year old son will not eat any type of meat, he doesn't even know what a cow is, but he doesn't want to eat it! Finding ways to get protein into him is my mission, so chickpeas in cookies is a winner. They also happen to tast great, which is a plus for the rest of us too.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: "Lemon Chicken" We had a dish with chicken pounded thin in a lemon sauce when we were on our honeymoon in Vermont. I thought I could make that with no recipe. How hard could it be? I marinated the chicken in lemon and olive oil, and it was so disgusting we had to order pizza. I have never tried lemon chicken again!
