I am 64 and I work as a short order cook at our local bowling center.I am also the food service manager. Along with the regular fare (burgers, pizza etc.), I make the soups, stews and other dishes.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
My greatest cooking triumph would have to be the food I prepared for my sons garden wedding.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
My friend and I had a small gourmet food catering business. We catered a party with a Hawaiian theme. The sweet potatoes in one dish would not get tender, they were hard as rocks. I had to recook them in a hurry and they still stayed hard. So, I served them any way, deciding everyone would think they were healthy because they were crunchy. It did work, but I thought they were terrible potatoes.
