My Greatest Cooking TriumphFor many years I taught cooking in my own cooking school, Framers Exchange Cooking School in Santa Cruz, California, at Cabrillo College, at The Univeristy of California Santa Cruz, For the Deprartment of Recreation and was a consumer advisor for Cuisinart. I wrote a monthly food column for the Santa Cruz Sentinel and appeared in cooking segments on Television.
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterWell, it wasn't really a disaster but I was in a rush and was asked to donate a cake for a local chocolate contest so I tossed together a package of chocolate cake mix, a can of cherry pie filling and some flavorings, baked it and sent it off. To my surprise it was a most requested recipe and, being this high falooten cooking teacher, I had to say it was a seceret and I couldn't give it out.
