I love to crochet almost as much as I love to cook, however my children come first. I'm in my mid 40's and rather a home body. I enjoy family related activities, fantasy movies and books. Both of my children love to cook, my son is the designated "chef" for his college roomates and my daughter is studying to become a professional chef.
Besides learning how to cook in the first place :) I would have to say baking bread. I have a sour dough starter that I've been using since my daughter was an infant, 18yrs ago.
When I was using my pressure cooker to quick cook beans. I didn't notice that the pressure valve was obscured and it lept off the stove. Thank goodness it DIDN'T explode, I did have beans on the ceiling but no one was hurt. Needless to say I ALWAYS CHECK THE VALVE NOW!
