About Me: I am married to a Baptist minister and we have two grown children, Adam and Ashley. I have a grand daughter, Lacie Elizabeth. We live in southern WV along the WV/KY border. I can look out my back door and see the state of KY. I got married at 16, so I've cooked for a loooonnng time. I would rather cook/bake from scratch than to use prepared meals.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Any new recipe that I try and it turns out well makes me feel great!

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: This Thanksgiving I was baking my turkey in the usual cooking bags that I bake them in. For some strange reason, the bag had a hole burn in it. My oven was flooded with turkey broth and was burning in the oven. Wow, what a mess and smell! I was embarassed because we had company coming, but all turned out just fine.

My Food For Thought: What you do for others, whether feeding them or some other act of kindness, you are in turn doing it for the Lord.

My Interests:
