My Greatest Cooking Triumph: Every Christmas we have over our best friends and I cook the whole meal myself. There is only 8 of us but I am not that healthy so it is my greatest triumph. The meal I serve is a spiral baked ham basted with a brown sugar and spice concoction. The ham also has pineapples toothpicked to it everywhere. I make my own creamed corn from scratch, yam casserole that's been in my family for years, mashed potatoes, homemade fruit salad, and my homemade yeast rolls.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: I was cooking my husbands favorite meal which is sweet and sour chicken. My mom's recipe. I have been cooking this dish for 23 years. It always came out great. well this time I burnt the chicken because of the high sugar content. I was not paying a close watch on the chicken as it cooked and the next thing I knew it was burnt to a crisp. My husband was such a sweetie and ate it anyways.
