My Greatest Cooking TriumphIs always when my family, brother and sisters and their family plus mom gets together for Christmas. I do the cooking but that is not so much the triumph, it is the laughter, the fun, the tears, the warmth that is felt all when they come together over this food.
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterIs when my sister and I decided to bake a cake when our mom was not at home. We were going to surprise her and dad. Well it was a disaster, we mixed it wrong, cook it wrong and when we tried to feed it to the dog to get rid of it, he would not eat it. We finally dumped it in the burning barrel and to this day it do not know if it even would burn.
My Food For ThoughtHaving good friends is like peeing your pants, everybody can see it but only I get the warm feeling it brings.
My InterestsCross stitch, paper tole, crocheting, reading and music, but my first love is cooking and trying new things in the kitchen.
