My Greatest Cooking TriumphLearning how to make cream puffs and flaky pie crusts.
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterGravy eludes me. I have friends and family members who can hardly boil water and yet make yummy gravy. My mother - in - law even made hamburger gravy that tasted great. Both she and my mom gave me lots of pointers and hints as have many friends but all to no avail. When I make meat dishes for company I always have a sauce but never a gravy.
