My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: When I was first on my own, my parents went away to Hawaii over Thanksgiving and left me to my own devices to make dinner for my new little family. My mother explained how to do a small turkey breast in the Crock Pot. I could not remember if she said to do it on LOW or HIGH. I was so nervous that I would burn it chose LOW and kept checking it. Well, when all was said and done ... it was still almost raw in the middle after 12 hours.
