I have been married for 36 years to my high school sweetheart who is the fussiest eater on the planet. I am the mother of 3 grown daughters who all moved far away from home. I became the grandmother of two beautiful grand daughters who were both born in 2011. I work full-time as a Human Resources Manager for a regional company that operates convenience store/gas stations.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
The first time I made my husbands favorite - Chocolate angel food cake. I beat the egg whites by hand (as his mother does). It turned out perfect.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
I was 17 and making cranberry bread for my then boyfriend's grandmother as a Christmas gift. I turned the oven to broil instead of bake. What a smokey mess. After the smoke cleared, I started over and made her a tasty loaf of bread which she loved.
My Food For Thought
You can't have too many cookbooks... and measuring cups.
My Interests
