I am a fun-lovin' mud slingin', Coffee Drinkin', Ghost town Exploring , Truck Driving Girly Girl!!!! I am a 27 year old female living in Virginia City, Nv, with my husband and our Pit/Lab Mix ( Birdie) and two maine Coon Cats ( Smokey and Red ). Monday through Friday I am a construction Dump Truck Driver and on the Weekends I am gone out into the desert looking for lost mines and Ghost towns.. Recently I have developed a " Love?" For Cooking and Baking.... So here I am trying my hand at some of the recipe's here.. So far so good! I think i might actually be building some cooking Confidence! Wee-Haw!
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
I made a great Carrot Cake from scratch off of a recipe from this site for my Mom for Mothers Day. My Mom only likes the Carrot cakes from a restraunt chain called Baker Square, and since all of them are out of business within' a 5 hour drive of here, I wanted to come up with something special that may give that cake a run for it's money.. i found it here. It turned out awesome and Mom wants another one!!!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
I thought i would be cute and make Candy Cane sugar cookies for a party last Dec... umm lets just say I made this up and ended up with a burned up sticky smokey mess!!!
