I am a busy fourth grade teacher, so I don't take too much time to cook. My husband enjoys being in the kitchen more than I do. However, I do enjoy cooking around all the holidays. Family and friends get together for all the holidays! I am a quilter also; no wonder I'm not in the kitchen too much!
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Since I'm more of sewing person, any dish I try that is successful is a triumph!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
When I was first married (34 years ago), I couldn't figure out why a batch of oatmeal cookies I baked almost came out like candy. When I called my mom to talk through the recipe, I looked at my flour jar, and it was full! I used powdered sugar by mistake! My husband was gracious enough to eat them anyway!
