About Me
No profile added.
Down to earth, unique person. I love to cook and try new things. I like to make things from scratch rather than out of a box and jar. On my weekends off, I cook meals at my parents house. I also have my garden at my parents house that my boyfriend & I maintain. Half the stuff I make I never get to try, everyone else beats me to it.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
When I was 16, Mom gave me a cooking project - making fruitcake for the both sides of the families (Mom's & Dad's side). I didn't quite follow the recipe, it called for mince meat, figs, raisins and some other unrecognizable that i didn't want to use. I added my own stuff to the recipe, Mom told me for sure that I ruined the fruitcake - I and both sides of the family proved her wrong! This cake was a hit and the following year I entered it in the county fair and won a blue ribbon! :)

My Food For Thought
Let us be grateful to people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom. Live in such a way that you would not be ashamed to sell your parrot to the town gossip. We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. Duct tape is like the force. It has a light side, a dark side, and it holds the universe together. Treat others like how you want to be treated. And last but not least.... Never, ever skip dessert! :)
