About Me
No profile added.
I'm married 36 years to Steve, have 2 children, Christy. 34 and James 28 and 5 grandchildren. One little bitty dog that thinks he owns us.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
After taking a cruise this year for the first time, I made beef wellington for my husband after having it on the ship.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Probably 20 years ago, I got a recipe from my sister that sounded good, for a chicken curry. It was quite an involved recipe. I worked really hard getting it done. I set it in front of my husband and he took the first bite. His face just went kind of blank. He said its different, but I'll eat it (He is the third oldest of seven and learned to eat what ever was on the table). I then tasted it and took his plate away from him and set it on the floor for our dog. The dog walked over sniffed and walk away. It had way too much curry in it.
My Food For Thought
My cooking talent is one of my God given talents and I get the greatest pleasure out of sharing it with other people. One of the ways I do this is cooking for our church soup kitchen. The reward I get is the feelings I get in doing something for someone else.
