About Me
No profile added.
I am 48 and the mother of 3 girls ages, 18, 20 and 23. My Mom was an awesome cook and I wish that someday I could publish a family recipe cookbook.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Let's see..... When I made a dinner where EVERYONE in my family said that it was great and asked for me to make it again. I have 3 food critics living with me!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
When I made Beef with Broccoli about 25 years ago, and I used frozen broccoli instead of fresh. It was horrible. I was really trying to impress my boyfriend (now my husband) and it turned out mushy. Another one would be when I was first married and I tried to doctor up hamburger helper by adding about a tablespoon of cayenne pepper. My husband refers teasingly to it as Hamburger Helper ala Mexico....
My Food For Thought
Food can really bring people together. Some of my best memories are of my Mom's Sunday dinners with my siblings and all of their and my kids.
