About Me
No profile added.
I started cooking and baking when I was 8 years old. I had younger siblings to take care of with both parents at work all day. A lot of times I watched my father create meals out of the strangest things and it always tasted so good. It wasn't long until I would have to mimic his creativity to feed my hungry siblings. First meal I was ever taught to make was chicken cutlets with the two sides, macaroni and cheese, and steamed spinach. Again, I was 8. Now, 20 years later and I am cooking, baking and creating dishes for fun. It's good to know that I am creating something that brings a smile to loved ones. I am a retail manager who works 50 or more hours a week, and I seriously cook for my boyfriend every single night. My co-workers are always happy to taste my leftovers.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
My delicious Honey-Glazed Wings with a Kick!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Probably has to be from way back when I was younger. I wanted to contribute to thanksgiving dinner and had just really started creating dishes. The decision came to home made Macaroni and Cheese. I asked my grandmother what she had always put in hers that made it so delicious... In a rush to get it all together I forgot two ingredients and the result was a bland mix of macaroni and about seven different types of cheese. Left a bitter after taste and was hard to swallow!
My Food For Thought
Take time out of your busy schedules to do something you actually LOVE to do!
