About Me
No profile added.
60 yr.old high school graduate, been with my husband for 35 years, a diabetic but also have a beautiful (soon-to-be 24 years old) Kidney Transplant I named 'Jonathan', (gift of God).
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
It happened for me several years ago when I entered our county fair for the first time. I entered several items in the baking, & jams & jellies catagories. I won several blue ribbons, one of which was for our favorite 'Apple Hickory-Nut Cake'. My husband had gathered the hickory nuts, & worked hard to pick the nutmeats out for me. I cried so hard when I saw all my blue ribbons. I still have copies of the newspaper write-up!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
The time I made a beautiful apple pie & decided to have a slice before I took a piece outside to my husband. The first bite was the last, I had used salt instead of sugar!!! It was horrible...I saved my husband's taste buds that day!
My Food For Thought
Our family, friends, & good food shared - we are truly blessed.
