grew up on a farm in Iowa have always lived here. went to college married and had a son who is grown now. I have operated a child development home for 36 years now. Always learning more about child development and nutrition for everyone. I am diabetic and am getting older. I seem to always cook for a lot of people but finding time to get everything done is getting more difficult with all the demands of life these days. My son lives with us right now after becoming ill last year and needing very difficult surgeries. He is a health nut before and still after. I think some of that and being so darn stubborn is why he survived all that he went through. We almost lost him several times.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
not sure on that one. I guess everytime I managed a large group of people and fed them is a triumph. LOL Meeting the needs of all my little ones and getting them to eat it is also a triumph everyday.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
my noodles disolved in my chicken veg. soup I was making in a crockpot.
My Food For Thought
Always behave the way you want your children to behave, because they are always watching. They miss nothing.
