About Me: Right now, I'm going through a "rough" time. My DH, decided to leave me right before Christmas, like 6 days before. Also, I had foot surgery on Jan. 4th, I'm still not allowed to put weight on it....Each day is getting better, but I also, still have bad ones...My new saying is...Life's a bed of roses, I'm just in the thorns, now.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: When I was 12, I wanted to make an apple pie, crust and all. My Mother always, had a terrible time when she made pies. They just didn't turn out, brunt, not done, you name it. So, she stood back, watched, advised, and when the apple pie came out...it was great...so from then on, I became the "pie baker".

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: Everytime I bake...the kitchen's a mess...flour, sugar, you name it...I'm wearing it, walking in it, moving it around on the counter. I'm a disaster when I bake.

My Food For Thought: Tell anyone that you love, that you do love them, thank them often...Life is too short
