Grandmother of 8, mother of 4, wife of one and retired in Florida. Blessed beyond my wildest dreams to live on the Atlantic, have good health and God's blessings every day.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
making pierogi for my oldest sister and have her tell me they tasted like our mom's. Our mom was naturally skilled at cooking. I was not allowed to cook as i grew up, so this compliment was over the top. Our mother died 2 yrs ago at 96.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
The last batch of brownie cupcakes with peanut butter centers......too hard to even chew. Too bad.
My Food For Thought
Making memories with flavors, tastes, traditional foods, make for the best of all gifts. Our memory banks register the 'Smell" of a holiday, why not enhance that to pass on to our children's children.
