I'm just me! I'm very lucky, I have the most wonderful friends in the whole world. Sadly they are all over the world too so I don't get to see everyone as often as I would like. I'm English with an American boyfriend and I love introducing recipes from both sides of my life to the other. I'm a big "travel cook" and love to learn and emulate recipes from countries I travel to.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
I don't know - I suppose cooking for 200 single handedly would count but any time I have a group of friends to visit and I get to cook and spoil them and enjoy good company and good food.. well life doesn't get much better than that!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Oh my goodness - too many too mention! Shall we start with pancakes sticking to the ceiling, exploding meringues or answering a hand mixer instead of the phone.. while making chocolate cake batter?! Just a quick tip here.. thinking of putting "space dust" into meringues to make them fun for kids.. is not a good idea unless you have someone else to clean the oven!
My Food For Thought
Live every minute. When bad things happen think of it as a way to appreciate the good in your life and as a reminder of just how good and precious life is.
There is nothing that makes my heart sing like good times with friends and family. Tell people you love them while you can so you never regret not having said it.
