About Me: I am 62 years old and live in a house much to large for my needs. I have two grown Daughters and three dogs two Bostons and One Dalmation. I have been widowed since 1993 but have enjoyed getting back into the world of dating. It can be a rough world a good man is hard to find these days. Ienjoy the time I spend in the Grannies Neighborhood and our get togethers are a joy.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: I really don't know what my greatest triumph would be. I have cooked all of my life so I guess I have had many. I do remember a compliment I recieved from a friend of my grandmothers when I was about 14. This lady and her son dropped in for a visit without any warning. I let my grandmother visit and put together a meal for everyone. Her comment was not many girls your age could put together a meal like this. I always have remembered that.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: I baked a pumpkin pie when I was a teen that called for sweetened condensed milk. I did not know what that was I just thought it was another way of saying condensed milk. I used the wrong kind and that pie was a disaster to say the least. I learned the hard way and now over 40 years later I am still using that recipe but now I know what sweetened condensed milk is.
