About Me: I'm singe by way of a divorce after nearly 13 years of marriage. I'm now in a relationship with a man I've known since I was 18. He's the love of my life.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: We lived in New Orleans when I was very young and my dad loves Creole food and was craving some Gumbo. So I went to his house one morning and started making a Shrimp and Sausage Gumbo. It took some time, but it was wonderful and he loved it!

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: I made a chocolate cake for my then-husbands birthday and invited my parents over for dessert. Apparently, when I was whisking the ingrediants together the metal part of my whisk came off and landed in the batter! When my husband started to take a bite, he noticed something metal on his fork and he thought I was trying to kill him by choking him to death!!!! Other than that, the cake was good!
