My Greatest Cooking TriumphMy first time baking was for a Thanksgiving dessert, apple pie. I made everything except for the crust from scratch. Of course I was completely nervous, but my family loved it and it's become my signature dessert.
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterThere's a couple I can think of off the top of my head. I know for sure there are plenty!! I was baking a apple pie (I decided to be lazy and buy it from the store--first mistake! haha) for a family get-together. When I was removing it from the oven, I lost grip and it fell inside!! I had to dig it out, thank goodness most of it was still inside the foil but Instead of being apple pie, it was apple cobbler!
