About Me

I am 50, married for 29 years. We have two grown children and two grand children. We love to work in our yard and flower and vegetable gardens. We have a travel trailer and go camping as often as we can. When we go camping I love cooking in a dutch oven over the campfire. It's so much fun to see how many other campers ask about it when they see and smell the meals cooking.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
My first Thanksgiving dinner. It even amazed me that everything turned out so good. It looked like a picture from a magazine.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
I caught oil in a cast iron skillet on fire. Then using a hot pad to grab it by the handle, I rushed it out to the porch. Not a problem until I sat it on the ground....on the green indoor/ outdoor carpet and quickly melted a hole in it right outside the door!
