About Me
No profile added.
I have been happily married for 31 years. My husband retired from the Marine Corps after 24 years. We have been stationed in many States and 9 years in Iwakuni Japan. I have a bachelors degree in social work with a specialty in Alzheimer's /dementia. I have been a director of 2 Alzheimer's units, and am a dementia trainer. I am currently finishing my masters degree in Gerontology (study of the aging process). I have 2 grown children; a 30 year old son, and a 27 year old daughter. My son is the father of my precious little 18 month old grandson. He is the light of our lives!
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Cooking an authentic Japanese meal!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
The first time I tried to make gravy. No long after we married, and my poor husband chocked it down, so he wouldn't hurt my feelings.
My Food For Thought
Live in such a way that those who know you, but don't know God, will come to know God, because they know you.
