I am twenty-five years old, I just got married to the greatest guy on October 6,2007. I am currently in school, on my way to becoming a Physical Therapy Assistant. Just enjoying being married:)
Just by starting to cook was a triumph for me, my family would always tease me about how I don't cook. When I met my husband things started to change, I all of a sudden wanted to cook.
I was watching a friends place for a few weeks, I decided I was going make homemade french fries. My friend is a bachelor and only had one frying pan, I needed the frying pan that I used to make the fries to fry up a hamsteak. My husband and I were trying to pour the hot oil into a can and I decided to turn on the hot water in case any oil fell into the sink, it would just go right down and not clog the sink. As soon as some of the oil hit the hot water it exploded, EVERYWHERE. I was screaming, afraid that my husband was going to get burned and my husband just stood there and laughed. After the fact I too laughed. What an awful mess to have to clean up, I learned a very valuable leasson that day; hot water and hot oil DONT MIX! We still talk and laugh about it all the time.
