My Greatest Cooking TriumphHaving my daughter Cheri's family say they liked my kind of potatoes the best! They are very picky eaters, and I was pleased I could make something that they really thought was great!
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterMy first turkey! I had put it in the oven without knowing there was stuff in the middle I needed to take out!! I guess my mother always had the turkey in the oven by the time we got up to help. Plus I never knew who could eat that "dressing"! Since I didn't see her put anything in to it, I assumed that was just the insides of the turkey!!!!!!!!!! Boy, did I have to grow up fast!!
My Food For ThoughtI wish people who rate recipes would actually try them! I depend a lot on those reviews when I decide to make a recipe that has high ratings. I even was surprised that they don't test them before printing them in a magazine.
