My Greatest Cooking TriumphTurning a potential disaster into a favorite recipe! :D
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterWhen I was learning all about baking, and had never heard of cream of tartar...I made a meringue pie wondering why it would call for tartar anything (thinking of tartar sauce, of course, since I'd never heard of anything else!)...and proceeded to put it in! OMG! Thank GOD the peaks never formed for the meringue, otherwise, I'm sure we would've gotten a horrid taste we would have NEVER forgotten! Haha! :D
