Well, on February 23, 2008, I married my best friend, Mark Longworth. We will be leaving the USA next year with the India Mission Team sent out of the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. Our goal is to reach the country of India with the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. To that end, we will be establishing churches and working with an oraphanage. We covet your prayers!
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
So far, I think two loaves of milk and honey bread. I used an old Country Magazine recipe that I had clipped as a teenager, but I subsituted whole wheat for some of the white flour. Mark loved it!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Boston baked beans that would NOT cook. I soaked them the night before and much of that day, then put them in the slow cooker all the following night. They absolutley refused to soften! Oh well, I'm sure the racoons enjoyed them!
My Food For Thought
