My Greatest Cooking TriumphChicken Marsala & Tiramisu - we love Carrabba's and my favorite dish there is Chicken or Steak Marsala. The first time I made it at home, my husband said it was better than Carrabba's!! Not to mention WAY easier on our budget. I didn't use a recipe, just read several recipes and made it up as I went along. We topped this off with homemade Tiramisu....MMMMMMMMM!
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterNo matter what your age, when you become a new parent, it is uncharted territory. I was 37 when my first child (daughter) was born. She loved warm blankets. One day, she was tired and completely beyond consolation - a warm blanket was the answer. Frazzled, at my husband's suggestion, I quickly warmed it in the microwave. Well, when I removed it from the microwave, it burst into flames!!! Luckily the sink was close by and no one was harmed. Laughter was our only response, which broke the tension of screaming baby.
