Hi All! I am a mother to three wonderful adult daughters, and a step mom to two equally wonderfull stepdaughters. I am married to a great fella that puts up with me, my stress baking in the middle of the night, the five daughters, the cat and many friends that come and go. I've also hit the "Red Hat" stage of life and am enjoying it to the fullest! I am employed full time as a Research Chef, which includes creating new innovations, concepts and menu items within the food industry. I've had the opportunity to travel around the country, meeting wonderful people and gaining food skills that I had only dreamed of in my younger days. My passion for cooking and baking continues to grow and I look forward to meeting and chatting with all of you.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
Feeding our local National Guard Unit of a 128 soldiers each month and serving up a warm and delicious breakfast is a humbling and honoring opportunity that I take great pride in. God Bless Our Troops!
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
It was making meatloaf, but I've had a more recent disaster. Pressure cooker containing sweet potatoes. You can imagine what the ceiling looked like. Can you say "repaint!"
My Food For Thought
I never say no to chocolate or a cookie!
My Interests
Baking, cooking, reading, playing cards with family and friends and on occassion a lovely glass of wine. Cheers!
