About Me
No profile added.
I was raised on a cattle ranch in Montana. I graduated from college with a degree in home economics (family and consumer sciences) education/extension with a minor in library sciences. I am a high school teacher and librarian.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
I've mastered making "soup". I know that it sounds silly, but my family swears that I make the best that they have ever had.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
Trying to make chiffon cake....it never turns out light and fluffy like the Peppermint Chiffon Cake that my cousin's wife makes....what's the secret?
My Food For Thought
Never make something for dinner guests that you haven't tried making before; nothing tastes as good as thin feels (borrowed saying from Weight Watchers); practice makes perfect (this is what I tell my Culinary Arts students)
