My Greatest Cooking TriumphMy greatest cooking triumph was when I had to make a cheesecake for my Bible Study teacher's birthday. I made Layered Turtle Cheesecake and it turned out to be the best thing I ever made! Her birthday was in January and she still raves on and on about it!
My Biggest Kitchen DisasterMy biggest kitchen disaster was when I was making the usual chocolate chip cookies. I needed flour and I found this small container of what appeared to be flour. It was a little sweet but I figured that it was just old. I used it and all my cookies would be soupy in the oven and get really hard when they cooled. They didn't rise and where way to sweet to be called a cookie! I found out after I threw the whole batch out that I had used powdered sugar instead of flour.
My Food For ThoughtI'm not sure what this means but I'll give it a shot. Always make something new first by following the recipe exactly then if you like it make it again and improvise.
My InterestsI love to bake, cook, anything in the kitchen. I'm constantly looking at recipes and always thinking of what I should try next. The funny thing about me is that although I love to cook, I never want to eat it. So I never know what to do with what I make! So I figure for a future profession I'll own my own cafe and that way I can bake and cook to my heart's desire and never have to eat any of it!
