We came to Kenai, Ak. 42 years ago. We have 3 adult men 43, 40 and 37.None married. The youngest will be getting married in August. 28 years ago we cut our own logs and built a two story log house with a full basement on the shores of cook inlet. Have a million dollar view. From our diningroom window we see Mt. Redoubt which is an active volcano and the Alaskan range. The volcano has blown 3 times since we have been here. Quite the light show! My husband is a bush pilot so we go across the inlet to go clam digging and fishing.He also is a hunter so every fall he fills our freezer with moose and other wild game. I love the summers here but hate the winters!

My Greatest Cooking TriumphWorking with my 141 year old sourdough starter.

My Biggest Kitchen DisasterMaking bread with my sourdough starter. At the rising stage I ran to town for 2 hours.It was in a big bowl but when I came home it looked just like a cake that had been frosted with white frosting.
