About Me: I'm in my 70's, married for more than 2/3s of my life, have 2 children and 1 living grandchild. I have fought my weight since my daughter was born.

My Greatest Cooking Triumph: My husband declares no one can cook meat as tender and tasty as I do. He also swears my pies are the best. I make a prune cake that our son would be quite upset should I not see he got more than one piece.

My Biggest Kitchen Disaster: My first meal for company I prepared meat loaf and served it on a new platter. I suppose the platter was more for show than actually using for food because as I almost reached the table with it, it broke right down the middle and the meat loaf hit the floor. Trying to make me feel better, one of my guests said, "It doesn't matter. No one likes meat loaf anyway."
