About Me
No profile added.
I am married and am blessed with 3 daughters, two are married and we got our first grandchild this year- a charming little feller. I have 6 cats at the moment, and two dogs, a variety of birds...and you never know who will show up at my door tomorrow. I have run a family business for the past 25 years, and cater on the side- mostly for church functions. I can read a cookbook like a novel. I live in a 100 year historic house- which is an endless source of projects.
My Greatest Cooking Triumph
I cater an annual womens conferance for 600...which is a big organizational accomplishment- and once had a group leader tell me he needed a hot lunch served to 250 people in 10 min.....mission accomplished. Another time- I catered 3 events in one day.......now that was nearly a miracle! I consider requests for my recipes a triumph- and am happy to share.
My Biggest Kitchen Disaster
I added shredded cabbabe to my big batch of chicken soup, chilled it- and when I heated it the next day the smell was awful....my daughter was checking the bottom of her shoes, if you know what I mean.
My Food For Thought
my favorite verse- "I can do all things thru Christ who strenghtens me".......oh, and," will this matter 5 years from now"?
